Just to make sure the shoulder issues from earlier in the year don’t come back I have been doing tons of stretching and when my legendary Physio is in the country Julia has been making sure I am on the right track. She put needles in my back in our last session and thought this photo looks way cool. Ps the needle is 9cm long.

Will try post some of the cool stretches I have been doing soon!

Cracker Week and New Durban Training Group!

High to low, low to high. Always back and forth!  

Training has been rocky the last 2 months but finally making ground in the right direction, I hope anyway. Raced over Easter weekend on a high after coming off an injury, was on a massive low the following week from just being blown from racing 3 days in a row. Back to a high this week with a cracker, lets hope it stays that way. The motivation is there so no reason why not, just need to keep the work rate up.

Training Journal 2nd to 8th June

I have to comment that this was the best week ever. The two time trails were in flat, glassy, windless conditions, got some great surf (haven’t had waves here in a while) and the wind blew for the race on Sunday! Quite a fun week where training seam way more fun, love weeks like this when things flow.
 
I had a ton of questions about training after last weeks training journal. Will try post some more about training on the site in the coming weeks.

My training programme

I have had a number of requests to post my training programme on the site.
 
I would rather post what training I have actually done. Good intentions and bravery sets the programme for the week which is not always what gets done. The reality is looking back on the week and seeing what you have accomplished.
