The Story!

The internet is an amazing place. This thing hit a million views in under 12h and it's climbing, wow, not that viral!

I have had plenty exposure to waverunners through the C2C4C last year. I have logged some serious hours, feel very at home with the big machines and know their amazing capabilities.

In 2 weeks time I will be taking on the Umko. The craziest canoe race on the planet. I was meant to do a pre race over the weekend but my partner got sick so was n the bank watching.

Hit the road to PE, long drive, some 10hours. Got there early enough to hit a paddle at Summer Strand. Quite a few doods ended up on a group paddle out to the point. PE dealt out one of the best paddles of the year, awesome waves on the way home and great company. Took the camera with on the paddle, here are videos of the session!

Got sent this clip from good mate and multisport legend Eszter Erdélyi (www.multigirl.co.za, http://www.youtube.com/user/Multigirl82) of my housemate Andrew Campbell. Someone dared him to ramp off the Ushaka pier on a mountain bike at the HP Urban Rage. Well here it is, the mad man and I have to live with this dood!

I duct taped my camera to my helmet yesterday while tripping the Croc, for those racing this weekend, this is what you in for!

The website has been pretty serious of late with race reports, equipment reviews sponsors and little humour. I do get to have some fun in-between the training, coaching and work.

I have had my computer dood, David working his ass off recently on getting a youtube video into my blog. Well here is the first one. A little insight into me checking out the finish at Westbrook the day before world cup, setting up my Garmin Forerunner 305 and my sweet ride for the week.
