Hey All Surfskischool Members

 

I looked back in the surfskischool records this morning and can’t actually find the last time I had to cancel 3 weekends in a row. Very rare but a reality I am afraid. When dealing with a powerful creature like the Indian Ocean better safe than sorry. The only thing that can explain the adverse weather we are having is a change of season. It does mean summer is coming and coming fast. Don’t know about you but I can’t wait. Durban is still the best place in the world to paddle so dealing with some wind now and again is not a train smash.

 

The Surfskischool’s own Nikki Mocke had a great Olympic games and really did her country proud making the final of the 500m k4 final. They finished 7^th in a nail biting race and coming home with a personal best. Well done Nikki!!! Check out her stories about the game at www.themockes.com.

Due to classes being overbooked the last couple week we are adding an extra class on a Saturday morning from this week to cater for the extra numbers.

 

Programme for the classes:

 

Saturday 30^th August     

 

8am – Ocean Expert

9am – Ocean Paddler

10am – Ocean Paddler

11am – ABC
