The Varsity College Marine Surfski Series hosts the SA Schools Champs on the 25th of March this year and teams up with the Surfskischool to run free clinics in Durban, PE and CT to get as many high school kids into surfski as possible.
The coaching clinics got under way in Durban over the weekend with Westville High School bringing 16 kids down to try out the sport. I love seeing new people take of surfski paddling, kind of why I got involved in the Surfskischool in the first place, even better then it is really amped kids!
This is where our future champions are going to come from!
